Our Story and Coliving Philosophy in Tenerife
Bencomo Coliving was born in Santa Úrsula, Tenerife, with a clear idea: to create a space where digital nomads, remote workers and long-term travelers can feel at home while enjoying community, nature and authentic local life.
We believe coliving is more than accommodation – it is a lifestyle. Here, people share experiences, projects, dinners, trips and unique moments. Every guest at Bencomo Coliving contributes something new to the community and takes a piece of Tenerife with them.
Our space features 5 carefully designed rooms for comfort and inspiration, coworking areas with high-speed internet, shared spaces for community living and a garden to connect with nature. Everything is designed to provide balance between productivity and wellbeing.
We also embrace the local way of life: we collaborate with small businesses, share traditional Canary recipes and encourage guests to experience the island as locals.
At Bencomo Coliving, we want you to find a temporary home where you can grow both personally and professionally, surrounded by ocean views, the Teide volcano and an international community that shares the same values.
About us
Hi! We are Adrián and Ana, two siblings from Tenerife with Irish roots, born and raised in the north of the island. We’ve always felt a deep love for our land, its people, and its nature, and over time we realized we wanted to create a project that would bring all of that together with our way of life. That’s how Bencomo Coliving in Tenerife was born — a space designed for digital nomads, remote workers, and long-term travelers looking for more than just a place to sleep.
Together, we built a coliving in Tenerife that combines Adrián’s logic and stability with Ana’s creativity and spontaneity. Our mission goes beyond providing a space to live and work: we want every person to feel part of a real community, to discover Tenerife from a more local and authentic perspective, and to take a piece of the island’s essence with them.
What connects us the most is our love for nature, our passion for meeting new people, and our desire to share our island in a genuine way. At Bencomo Coliving, we give importance to our story and our roots, because we believe true connection is born from there.
Adrián is the logical and structured mind. He manages reservations, finances, and the garden. His passion for organization and numbers blends with his love for animals and nature. He’s all about balance: making sure everything runs smoothly while keeping a welcoming and warm atmosphere.
Ana is the creative side of Bencomo Coliving. She is in charge of photography, the website, and social media. Always experimenting with new (and sometimes bold) ideas, she adds color, freshness, and authenticity to the project. She loves hiking, exploring hidden corners of the island, and spending time by the ocean — all of which inspire the vibrant energy she brings to the community.
